Feast your eyes on this spectacular antique double albert watch chain crafted in bright 15ct yellow gold. This rare and exceptional chain dates back to the Victorian era, 1899!
This double albert chain is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. It is in remarkable condition, complete with a 15ct gold dog clip and 15 gold spring clasp. Every link is marked for '15' and '625' to denote the gold purity of 15ct.
The chain length may be long enough to go around the neck at 15" (38cm) and is securely fastened by the dog clip and bolt ring.
The T-bar is the 'swivel' model which rotates/spins. The bar is attached via a short linked chain, whereby the larger jump ring can move up and down the chain, meaning the T-bar can be positioned at any point.
The watch chain is hallmarked for London assay office, date letter 'd' corresponding to 1899. Makers mark 'BDC' on the T-bar.
