This pretty little pendant dates back to 1905 and is crafted from 9ct gold. The mount has a beautiful chased pattern of a foliate motif.
The top piece is screwed on to allow the gold trim to separate, allowing the glass panels to come out. The glass does have some nibbles to it as expected however once filled with a picture etc. it is masked by the gold trim.
The pendant is hallmarked for Birmingham assay office, 375 (9ct gold) with date letter f corresponding to 1905.
