A substantial antique spinner fob crafted in solid 15ct gold and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1916. The oval fob is set with two contrasting stones, deep green bloodstone to one side and rich reddish-brown carnelian to the other, creating a classic combination frequently found in antique seal and fob jewellery.
The stone-set centre rotates freely within a 15ct gold frame, allowing either side to face forward. A curb link style runs around the upper section of the mount, giving the piece additional depth and character while retaining the practical rotating design traditionally associated with watch chains and Albert chains.
Presented in very good antique condition with light age-related wear. The spinner mechanism remains functional and the stones are securely set. At 5.75 grams, it has a pleasingly substantial feel for its size.
