A rare and playful late Victorian novelty pendant, dating to circa 1890. Crafted in rich 15ct gold, the piece features three miniature gambling dice displayed beneath a clear glass front. At the side is a small lever, originally designed to rotate the inner plate in the style of a roulette wheel. While the mechanism is no longer fully reliable, the charm and curiosity of the piece remain intact. Unmarked but tested as 15ct gold, this is a fascinating and collectible example of Victorian whimsy and a wonderful talking piece of jewellery.
