An exceptional antique heart pendant crafted in 15ct gold, centred with a softly glowing cabochon moonstone and surrounded by alternating rubies and old-cut diamonds. The combination is particularly striking, with the moonstone displaying a cool, ethereal lustre against the rich red rubies and flashes of the surrounding diamonds.
The heart-shaped moonstone is held within a fine gold bezel, while the ruby and diamond border is individually set into a radiating 15ct gold mount. Viewed from the side, the high domed profile of the moonstone becomes particularly apparent, giving this small pendant considerable depth and presence. A simple gold eyelet completes the design.
Presented in excellent antique condition. The moonstone is well preserved, the surrounding rubies and diamonds remain securely set and the gold retains strong definition throughout.
