An 18ct gold French albert chain of exceptional quality, the links alternating between a ripped belcher and rectangular form, giving the chain a varied and elegant rhythm quite different from the standard single-link alberts more commonly found. The original T-bar is finely chased and features an unusual seed pearl setting at its centre, a refinement that elevates what is already a superior piece.
Unusually, it has the watch key winder at the end of the T bar, a detail increasingly rare on antique albert chains, where such accessories are frequently lost or separated from the chain over the years. Its presence here speaks to the completeness of the piece.
