A finely made antique necklace dating to around 1920, combining warm 18ct gold with contrasting platinum in a distinctive alternating link design. The necklace is formed from elongated twisted gold bar links joined by fine platinum chain sections, creating a light, elegant rhythm along the full length.
Each gold section has a subtle spiral texture that catches the light beautifully, while the cooler platinum links provide a refined contrast between the two precious metals. Presented in very good antique condition with light age-related wear consistent with its age. The links remain flexible and well articulated, and the original 18ct clasp functions correctly.
