An antique Victorian double Albert chain in 18ct yellow gold and platinum, dating to c.1890. The links are formed in an unusual wheat pattern, giving the chain a more intricate texture and a distinctive look.
The T-bar is mounted on a larger jump ring, allowing it to be positioned anywhere along the chain — a practical and less commonly seen feature that adds versatility in wear. One end is fitted with an 18ct gold dog clip, while the other has an 18ct bolt ring clasp, both functioning as they should.
With a length of 37cm, the chain sits well when worn as a necklace, offering a strong presence without feeling overly heavy. The combination of yellow gold and platinum adds subtle contrast, enhancing the detail of the links.
