A beautifully detailed antique 9ct gold locket dating back to the Victorian era, c.1880. This pretty thing has very intricate engraved patterns to the front and back.
The front has a pretty forget-me-not flower in the centre, turn the locket over, and you'll be greeted by yet another breathtaking design. The back boasts equally stunning chased patterns, mirroring the beauty of the front. The intricate motifs are a visual feast, which are capture true Victorian style.
The locket features both inserts as well as an original glass panel, accompanied with an acrylic panel.
The locket is unmarked however has been tested for 9ct gold for the front and back panels. This means the rest would be made up of a base metal which was a common structure for lockets during this period.
