An impressive, large antique Victorian 9ct gold chased watch key dating back to c.1860. This wonderful antique features a gorgeous deep red carnelian to one side and an Onyx to the other.
There is beautiful engraving which runs throughout and is accompanied with a decorative swivel top which allows the watch key to rotate 360 degrees.
Despite being over 160 years old, it looks like the day it was made with no wear at all!
A watch key would have once been used to wind a pocket watch however it can be styled into other jewellery and worn as a pendant etc.
The key is unmarked however tested for 9ct gold.
