Antique 9ct Gold Chased Mourning Pendant Locket

A delightful antique 9ct yellow gold glass locket pendant crafted in c.1840. The back panel is 9ct gold whilst the rest is rolled gold.

This beautiful pendant has an incredibly detailed chased border. The reverse have an engined turned pattern and a hinged opening.

It has some real character and history to it and the inside is engraved:
