A finely detailed antique bangle dated to 1911, crafted in 9ct gold and set with sapphires and diamonds across the centre. The focal sapphire is framed by alternating smaller sapphires and diamonds, each set into a delicate star-cut setting that scatters flashes of blue and white across the front.
The gemstones sit within a broad central panel surrounded by exceptionally detailed goldwork. Twisted rope borders, applied scrolls, beaded accents and fine engraved decoration continue across the front, giving the bangle a richness that becomes more apparent the closer it is viewed. The contrast between the deep blue sapphires, bright diamonds and warm antique gold makes this a particularly attractive period piece.
The hinged construction allows the bangle to sit closely around the wrist and it retains its original functional clasp, side safety catch and safety chain. Presented in very good antique condition, with the decorative work remaining crisp and the stones securely set.
