An antique 9ct gold Masonic locket dating to c.1890. The front features a beautifully modelled compass and square, crafted in rich 9ct gold and set upon a shield-shaped bloodstone — its deep green surface flecked with subtle red tones. The reverse mirrors this design, with another finely set bloodstone agate, creating perfect balance and symbolism. Though the original inserts and glass are no longer present, the locket’s charm lies in its quiet gravitas — a piece once worn with purpose and pride, its symbols of virtue and brotherhood still resonating more than a century later.
