A beautifully crafted antique 9ct rose gold mounted open-face locket dating to 1918. This lovely piece features glass panels to both the front and back, allowing a photograph or keepsake to be displayed on either side. The design is cleverly constructed so the glass panels can be removed by unscrewing the top bail, making it easy to insert or change its contents.
Presented in lovely condition, there is only very slight nibbling to the glass, entirely consistent with age and not noticeable once a photograph or memento is in place. A charming and practical Edwardian locket, full of character and sentiment, and a wonderful way to wear a personal piece of history close to the heart.
