A delicate antique pendant dating to c.1910 , crafted in 9ct rolled gold and centred with a small oval green portrait plaque depicting the head of a cherub or putto. Despite its miniature scale, the facial features and surrounding detail are clearly defined, giving the piece considerable character.
The oval portrait is held within a simple gold bezel and suspended from a fine decorative fitting with an elongated loop beneath. The reverse is plain, keeping the focus entirely on the unusual green portrait to the front.
Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with its age. A particularly small and unusual survivor.
