A striking antique Victorian 9ct rolled gold intaglio seal, set with a richly coloured carnelian engraved with a finely detailed greyhound head at its centre. Surrounding the motif is a belt design bearing the word “Obedientia” latin for Obedience, adding a sense of loyalty and heraldic symbolism to the piece.
The intaglio carving is crisp and well executed, standing out beautifully against the warm tones of the carnelian. The gold mount complements the stone perfectly, creating a classic and timeless fob seal with strong character and presence.
