A substantial antique bolt clasp crafted in 9ct rose gold and dating to around c.1900. Its chunky circular profile gives the clasp considerably more presence than the finer bolt rings typically encountered, while retaining the simple functional design associated with antique chain fittings.
Originally intended as a secure fastening for a necklace or chain, the clasp retains its working spring-loaded mechanism.
