A 9ct gold heart pendant with vivid red enamel to the front and a seed pearl set at the centre. The enamel is in immaculate condition — no damage, no lifting, no loss — which is genuinely rare in a piece of this age. The reverse is rose gold, adding a subtle warmth to the back of the piece.
The pendant is hollow form — the standard construction for gold heart pendants of this period. Victorian goldsmiths worked in hollow form to keep the piece lightweight and wearable while maintaining the visual presence of a larger piece. It is a mark of the period's craftsmanship that hollow form pieces of this age have survived in such good condition.
There is a very small surface ding to the reverse, noted for accuracy. It is minor and does not affect the front face or the overall appearance of the piece when worn.
