A finely made Edwardian heart padlock clasp, crafted in 15ct gold and designed as a fully functional bracelet clasp. The heart-shaped body has a clean, compact form, with engraved screw-head style details across the front giving the piece a distinctive mechanical character.
The hinged circular shackle opens cleanly and closes securely, allowing the clasp to be used as intended on an antique bracelet, chain or charm piece. Its solid 15ct gold construction and neat proportions make it an especially useful period component, while the heart form gives it plenty of character when worn visibly at the front.
Presented in very good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with its age. The clasp mechanism remains strong and functional.
