An antique Edwardian locket pendant crafted in 15ct gold and decorated with seed pearls. The large circular centre is surrounded by an elegant openwork frame, with graduated pearls and delicate seed pearl detailing following the sweeping curves of the design.
The pendant retains its glass compartment, designed to hold a photograph, portrait or other small keepsake. The rear bezel can be removed to access the compartment, a particularly appealing feature given the generous 26mm diameter of the glass. The pendant is stamped “15CT” and dates to the Edwardian era, c.1905.
Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear. There are some minor chips around the sides/edges of the glass, although these are not particularly apparent.
