An Edwardian charm dating to around 1905, crafted in 15ct gold and modelled as a sow accompanied by a piglet to either side. The larger pig is finely textured across the body and set with small cabochon ruby eyes, while the piglets are worked in smooth gold for contrast.
The sculptural design gives the charm plenty of character from every angle, from the curled tail and defined snout to the tiny piglets tucked closely against the larger figure. Its scale makes it easy to wear on a charm bracelet, Albert chain or fine necklace.
Presented in very good antique condition with light age-related wear consistent with its age. The ruby eyes remain securely set and the original suspension ring is retained.
