A delicate Edwardian pendant dating to c.1905, crafted in 9ct gold and set with golden green chrysoprase and seed pearls. The central round chrysoprase is framed by a halo of pearls, with further pearl-set leaves and curved goldwork extending through the design.
The lower half of the pendant is articulated, allowing the floral section and pear-shaped chrysoprase drop to move freely as the piece is worn. That movement gives the pendant a soft, graceful quality, while the pale green stones and creamy seed pearls create a particularly fresh contrast against the warm gold.
The design is finely balanced, with curling upper sections, floral detailing and a suspended pear-shaped chrysoprase drop completing the composition. Presented in very good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with its age.
