An Edwardian pendant dated precisely to 1904, crafted in 9ct yellow gold and centred with two circular glass panels held within an open frame. Around the edge, the gold forms a repeating pointed pattern that gives the piece a distinctive spider web-like appearance and makes the frame as much a feature as the keepsake compartment itself.
The design has a light, almost architectural quality, with the openwork border creating a strong silhouette around the glass. The removable fittings allow the glass panels to be taken out, making the pendant suitable for displaying a photograph, miniature keepsake or other small insert.
Presented in very good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with its age. The glass panels are in excellent condition and the fittings remain functional.
