A delightful antique Edwardian 9ct yellow gold gate bracelet dating back to c.1900. This charming antique has beautiful chased decoration on side and a simple, yet elegant plane link on the other.
This was referred to as a night and day bracelet as it is reversible and can be worn showing the decorative pattern which would have been for the evening attire, or the luscious smooth links for everyday wear.
The heart shaped padlock is absolutely stunning, with decorative floral chasing to the front. It is in lovely condition with the shackle snapping shut securely.
The bracelet link is marked '9ct' along with the padlock. This was a common marking for 9ct gold during the Victorian/Edwardian era.
