A gorgeous antique Georgian fob crafted in 15ct gold along with a stunning carnelian. The unusual orange carnelian was used is earlier pieces of jewellery and has a lovely shade of light orange, which then blends into a clearer colour.
The fob has an elegant design, which has a hooped effect which arches over the top of the fob.
It weighs an impressive 23 grams which is a very substantial fob.
This piece dates back to the Georgian era, c1800.
This has been tested for 15ct gold, however is unmarked which is common for Georgian fobs of this age.
