A charming antique pendant dating to c.1910, centred by a faceted purple glass heart and framed by delicate seed pearl and purple paste accents. The heart-shaped stone gives the piece a strong focal point, with the surrounding openwork creating a light, decorative setting around it.
The central heart is surrounded by fine scrolling wirework and small leaf-like settings holding seed pearls, while additional purple paste stones echo the colour of the main stone. The combination of warm rolled gold, soft pearls and deep violet glass gives the pendant a particularly pretty period look.
Presented in very good antique condition with light age-related wear consistent with its age. The stones remain securely set and the openwork frame retains its shape and detail.
