This magnificent antique 9ct yellow gold locket is adorned with the prettiest of engravings. Every inch of this locket is decorated to very high standard and it is one of the best examples we've seen!
The front features a blank cartouche with forget-me-not flowers hidden amongst the decoration.
The locket dates back to the Victorian era, c.1880 and is in fabulous condition and closes with a 'snap'.
There is space to store two photographs or keepsakes of a loved ones.

None present, tests as 9ct gold back and front. This means the front and back panels are solid 9ct gold however the main structure contains a base metal to help strengthen it.
