A beautifully decorative antique sterling silver large locket dating to c.1880. The front is finely chased with an elegant floral composition, featuring two prominent flowers to the centre, framed by a tasteful decorative border.
The chasing remains crisp, giving depth and texture to the surface, while the generous size makes it a statement Victorian piece. The reverse complements the front with a clean finish, allowing the detailed floral work to take centre stage.
Though unmarked, the locket has been tested as sterling silver. It opens to reveal acrylic panels for space for keepsakes or photographs.
Presented in lovely antique condition, however with a slight ripple in the silver on the reverse side. A classic late Victorian floral locket with excellent presence.
