A fine antique sterling silver double Albert watch chain in a classic trombone link design, each link individually hallmarked with the lion passant — a mark of quality and a pleasure to examine closely. The chain is substantial and well-made, with a satisfying weight and excellent craftsmanship throughout.
Fitted with two dog clips, one to each end, allowing the chain to be worn in the traditional double Albert style across a waistcoat, or used to attach a pocket watch and fob simultaneously. A versatile and highly wearable piece.
Lovely antique condition. All links are sound and the chain retains excellent integrity throughout. Both dog clips function correctly. Lion passant hallmarks are clear and legible to each link.
A superb example of late Victorian silversmithing — beautifully made, fully hallmarked, and ready to wear.
