An unusual antique sterling silver torque bangle, finely modelled with makaras at each end. The intricately carved mythical creatures demonstrate skilled workmanship, lending the piece a distinctive and sculptural quality.
Formed as a torque, the bangle slips on with ease while maintaining a secure fit. Though unmarked, it tests as sterling silver. Dating to c.1920, it remains in very good condition, preserving both detail and form.
