An antique sterling silver double Albert chain dating to 1909, formed from twisted trombone links that give the piece a distinctive and slightly more intricate look than standard examples.
Each link is individually stamped with the lion passant, confirming silver quality throughout. The chain is fitted with fully functioning dog clips to either end, with a central T-bar, making it both practical and well balanced in wear.
A heavier example, with a solid, reassuring weight and a strong presence, while still retaining a clean and wearable feel. The twisted links catch the light subtly, adding depth without being overly decorative.
A well-made and dependable piece, equally suited for regular use or as part of a considered collection.
Presented in lovely antique condition, with light wear consistent with age.
