A late Victorian 18ct gold, diamond and ruby gypsy set ring.
This is in exceptional condition with a hand carved star setting for the diamond. The rubies are gracefully set beside the diamond in a simple, yet elegant look. The shank features a chased pattern which gives this ring a real majestic look.
The rubies are of lovely colour and the old mine cut diamond has nice clarity.
The ring is fully hallmarked with Birmingham assay office, 18ct gold, with a date letter 'x' for 1897.
