An exquisite Victorian 9ct gold front locket crafted in the shape of a shield, dating back to c.1880!
This pretty antique features a stunning piece of aberdeen granite carved and set into the locket, along with gorgeous engraving to the front of the locket A very unusual and curious locket full of character.
The inside has one panel and insert allowing a photograph to be stored.
The locket has a 9ct gold front and it is in lovely condition with it opening and closing nicely.
It is unmarked however tested for 9ct gold. The sides/frame are a base metal to help strengthen the locket.
