A compact Victorian pendant dating to around 1880, crafted in 9ct gold and formed as a rounded ball covered in detailed floral and foliate engraving.
This type of decorative terminal was likely originally part of an Albertina chain or bracelet and has since been converted for wear as a pendant or connector. The raised flowers, leaves and textured background create a richly worked surface, while the small proportions make it easy to wear on a fine chain or alongside other antique charms.
Presented in very good antique condition with light age-related wear consistent with its age. The engraved detail remains well defined and the pendant retains a strong period character.
