A beautiful and unusual Victorian 9ct gold shield shaped locket. This pretty thing features a deep red carnelian stone to one side and a floral ivy engraving to the other. It is very well crafted and dates back to c.1880.
The locket is made from 9ct gold and is in lovely condition with it opening and closing nicely.
The inside has just one glass insert, however has both the inside linings.
It is unmarked however tested for 9ct gold.
