A delightful Victorian 9ct gold shield shaped locket. This beautiful thing has a polished deep green bloodstone agate with stunning red speckles bursting through. The other side has a floral forget-me-not engraving. It is a very well made locket and dates back to c.1880.
The inside does not contain any inserts or glass panels however a keepsake or photo will still be able to stored inside.
The locket has a 9ct gold front with the rest made from a base metal which was very common in the Victorian era. The locket closes with a firm 'snap'.
