An exquisite 9ct gold back and front antique locket with such incredible detailing and hidden motifs.
There is exceptional attention to detail within this locket and this is shown with its beautiful chased artwork to the front and back. The front features forget me not flowers; a symbol of remembrance and enduring love which is encompassed in a belt and buckle around the circumference. The back also depicts a fern; which was often given as a token of esteem or to express your admiration for someone. All meaningful Victorian symbols, which are known as the language of flowers.
The jump ring is also beautifully faceted which adds to this already gorgeous locket.
The locket is in lovely condition with the closures shutting firmly.
