A decorative Victorian watch key dating to c.1890, crafted in 9ct gold filled metal and set with amethyst to one side and bloodstone to the reverse.
The amethyst provides a soft purple contrast to the darker bloodstone reverse, while the surrounding gold filled mount is finished with floral and scroll engraving. A large decorative ring at one end allows the key to be attached to an Albert chain or worn as a pendant or fob.
The opposite end is fitted as a watch key for winding a compatible pocket watch. Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with its age.
