An antique Victorian 9ct gold locket featuring a finely enamelled scene of a robin perched upon a branch with leaves. The enamel is well preserved, with clear detail and colour, giving the piece a strong focal point.
The reverse is neatly chased, adding texture and balance without detracting from the front. The locket opens to reveal two inserts fitted with acrylic panels, suitable for photographs or keepsakes.
It closes with a secure snap, sitting neatly when shut.
