A distinctive antique Victorian spinner fob dating to around 1880, crafted in 9ct gold and centred with a substantial faceted rock crystal intaglio engraved with a heraldic crest. The engraving depicts an arm holding an arrow above a shield and elaborate scrolling mantling, creating a highly detailed miniature design within the clear crystal.
The rock crystal is mounted within a simple rotating gold frame, allowing the engraved face to turn freely within the setting. Its faceted edges catch the light beautifully while the intaglio remains clearly visible through the transparent stone, giving the piece movement and depth from every angle.
Presented in very good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with its age. The rock crystal remains securely mounted and the spinner mechanism moves freely.
