A charming Victorian horseshoe pendant dating to c.1890, crafted in 9ct gold and set with a complete row of seed pearls following the curve of the horseshoe. The pearls give the piece a soft lustre, while the open centre keeps the design light and easy to wear.
The horseshoe motif was a popular Victorian symbol of good fortune, and this example has a particularly neat, balanced form with the pearls arranged closely across the front. The plain gold reverse keeps the focus on the pearl-set face.
Presented in very good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with its age. The pearls remain securely set and the suspension ring is intact.
