An antique late Victorian 9ct rolled gold spinner pendant, featuring a compass on one side and a polished sardonyx on the reverse. Crowning the top is a finely detailed elephant motif, a Victorian symbol of strength, wisdom, and good fortune. The pendant turns freely within its mount. The compass needle still moves, however may not be as accurate as it once was.
