An Edwardian 15ct gold necklace, beautifully designed in the shape of a heart. A very eye catching green peridot (.75ct) and seed pearl is set in the centre of the heart. The peridot gemstone is the birthstone for August and is believed to bring good health, delight and cheer. This necklace dates back to c.1900 with the makers mark AJP & Co, marked 15ct. The chain is of the Art Deco period (1930s) and is marked 9ct.
