A very unique and beautifully detailed vintage 9ct gold & silver masonic ball.
This lovely piece is very nicely made as it features 4 individual claws which hold the orb together. Once unpinned, the orb unfolds into a gorgeous cross shape, compromising of 6 pyramids. Each of the pyramids is exquisitely detailed with the very much important masonic symbols.
The inside of the orb is crafted in silver, whereas the outside is 9ct gold along with solid 9ct gold claws holding the orb together.
This orb is very well engineered, with no gaps between the pieces once closed. The claws are also very precise and clip firmly into their holes.
The pendant is unmarked however tested for both gold and silver.
It is made in c.1930, and has had very little use.
The width is 20mm, and once unfolded, it's length is 54mm, with a width of 38mm.
