A beautiful and unusual Victorian 18ct gold compass and bloodstone watch fob. Despite being over 120 years old, the compass still functions and is in superb condition, as is the bloodstone. This piece features a decorative linked chain which is fixed to the outside. The fob shows crisp hallmarks for Birmingham 1899 (Date Letter Z). A very cool piece of Victorian jewellery.
