A lovely quality Victorian sterling silver locket with beautiful decoration and applied AEI initials to the front, dating back to c.1870. The AEI stands for Amity Eternity and Infinity which, during the Victorian period was a popular symbol/term and would have been worn as a sign of everlasting love. The locket clicks shut nicely and is in excellent condition with glass inserts which have the original photographs still in.
