Found exclusively in the caverns beneath Castleton in Derbyshire, Blue John remains one of Britain's rarest and most recognisable ornamental stones. The lozenge cut showcases the natural colour variation particularly well, allowing the translucent bands to catch the light and reveal the stone's characteristic depth.
